The Palace Alliata of Pietratagliata is one of the most important historical residences in the whole Sicily.
Member ADSI (the Italian Historical Residences Association), the association that encompasses the Palaces, the Villas and the Italian Castels of historical interest.
Built in the middle of the XV century, it’s a stunning example of the works of the most important Sicilian architects that worked at this ancient palace, from the 1400’s to the full Modernism.
Its eighteenth-century glass chandelier, made in Murano Ca’ Rezzonico, it is considered the biggest among those ever made.
Since a few years it’s has been opened to the public to welcome congresses, lectures, events of prestige, conferences, cocktails, weddings, receptions and groups of tourists interested on the Arts and History. The roominess of the halls makes the Building an unique location for whatever type of organization, having 250 seats.
